The Access Point Scan Utility is a software program for the Sony® Wireless LAN Access Points and Router units that provides that following features:

* The utility scans for access points that exists on the same network.
* Allows the user to open the Access Point Setup page.
* Allows the user to open the Router Unit Setup page.

How to Use the Access Point Utility Software

1. Ensure that the computer has established communication with the Access Point/Router Unit.
2. Click Start, point to All Programs, and point to Wireless LAN.
3. From the "Wireless LAN" menu, click Access Point Scan. Please wait for this utility to search for for available units.
4. Select the Access Point/Router unit you want to configure, click Access Point Setup, then select "Easy Setup" or "Advanced Setup" to configure the Access Point/Router unit.
5. Change the computer's wireless network settings to match the Access Point/Router Unit settings.
