This package updates two sets of the BIOSes (including system programs and Embedded Controller programs) stored in the following ThinkPad computers to fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below.
- BIOS ID 80xxxxxx-based computer; machine types: 0578, 0579, 0301 and 0319 (Upper two alphanumeric characters of BIOS ID are 80)
- BIOS ID 82xxxxxx-based computer; machine types: 0199 and 0302 (Upper two alphanumeric characters of BIOS ID are 82)

* (New) Added support for ThinkPad 2x2 11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN.
* (Fix) Fixed an issue where the LCD brightness might change after resuming normal operation from hibernation, sleep or suspend state.
* (Fix) Fixed an issue where the Alt key might be stuck down after holding down the right Alt key and pressing the PrtSc key and then releasing them.
* (Fix) Fixed an issue where Fn+Shift+F8 key (holding down the Fn and Shift keys and pressing the F8 key) might not function.
* (Fix) Removed options of Touch Pad and TrackPoint from BIOS Setup Utility. The same function is supported by the device driver.
