To check the current version of the firmware of your Hub and to do a firmware update, please follow this procedure:
1. Open the Hub Control Center and click the option "Search for and manage Network USB Hubs" in the left hand side menu
2. On the Connected Hubs page your hub should appear in the list; the list will show the current version of the Hub’s firmware - if it is the same or later than the one available from the Support Sites, there is no need to continue
3. If you do want to update the firmware, download the Firmware file, and save it in a location where you can find it back easily
4. On the Connected Hubs page from step 2, click Properties. This will start your web browser and open the Hub’s web interface
5. Select the System Information tab in the left hand side and then the Update option in the top right of the section
6. Click Browse, locate the Firmware file that you downloaded and select it.
7. Click the Update button in the bottom left of the screen
8. Wait till the update has completed
The default password for the Hub is blank - if you are asked for a password during this procedure and have not changed the password, just click Submit without entering anything.
