These are the WinXP Drivers for the Personal Storage 5000 external hard drive.

Procedure:

1. Download the ps5000_xp_signed_drivers.exe file from this Web site. NOTE: It is suggested that you download the file to your system’s desktop.
2. Disconnect the Personal Storage 5000 drive from your system. NOTE: This can also be accomplished by using the "Safely Remove Hardware" option located in your System Tray.
3. Double-click the "ps5000_xp_signed_drivers.exe" file.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions as prompted.
5. Restart your system for changes to take effect.
6. Reconnect the Personal Storage unit to your system. It will now use the signed drivers.
