This SoftPaq creates a diskette for upgrading the System BIOS for HP Rugged Tablet PC tr3000.

The BIOS interfaces directly with thehardware of the computer.

HOW TO USE:

1. Insert a blank, formatted 1.44-MB diskette in the diskette drive.
2. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
4. From the sub-directory MAKEBOOT in the download directory, execute MAKEBOOT and follow the on-screen instructions to create the bootable diskette.
5. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the SoftPaq .EXE file downloaded in Step 2.
6. Power Off the computer.
7. Place the newly created ROMPaq diskette in Drive A: and Power On the computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the System BIOS.
