CD Upgrade

Insert CD-R Blank to drive recorder.
Click My Computer from Start menu and select the CD/DVD recorder drive.
Insert or copy-paste update file version+dummy file from your computer
Highlight the 2 files on the CD drive, Right Click, and select "Write these files to CD"
Change CD name to MEDIATEK (must with capital font), and click next.
And wait to complete process.
Place CD in DVD player
When you see below pop up (show screen that comes up on TV) press "Enter"
When Disc Tray opens, remove CD and Close Tray.
When update is complete the unit will power OFF auto

USB Upgrade

Copy the file.bin in to the root folder of USB flash disk and rename it to C550.BIN.
Insert the USB flash disk to the in to USB port on DVD Player and follow the instruction displayed on your TV.
