IMPORTANT: My Cloud product requires a hard drive inserted into the bay and a volume must be created to perform the firmware update. Make sure you stop all processes and save all your data before performing the firmware update.
Updating from firmware 1.02.xx:
- This firmware update requires the user to unplug the power supply, wait for 5 seconds to re-plug, and power up My Cloud EX4.
- Effective with this firmware update, the Network File System (NFS) feature will not be available or supported.
Firmware Release 1.05.30:
- Updated device end user license agreement and app term of services.
- Resolved device not mounting the volume in degraded mode after power loss.
- Resolved encrypted volume unable to mount with original password after performing raid roaming.
- Resolve screen refresh permission issue with multiple user accounts being open on the same computer.
- Resolved various translation and wording issues in multiple languages.
