This package updates two sets of the UEFI BIOSes (including system programs and Embedded Controller programs) stored in the following ThinkPad computers to fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions as noted below.
- BIOS ID GQxxxxxx-based computer (Upper two alphanumeric characters of BIOS ID are GQ)
- BIOS ID B0xxxxxx-based computer (Upper two alphanumeric characters of BIOS ID are B0)
Changes in this release Version 1.15 (BIOS ID: GQET35WW) [for BIOS ID GQxxxxxx-based computer] / Version 1.06 (BIOS ID: B0ET19WW) [for BIOS ID B0xxxxxx-based computer]:
New functions or enhancements:
- Added support for the UEFI DriverOrder feature.
- Updated the Diagnostics module to version 2.03.00.
Problem fixes:
- Fixed an issue where UEFI KeyShiftState was not correctly returned for some keys.
- Fixed an issue where SMBIOS type 15 structure (System Event Log) was incorrect.
- Fixed an issue where the LCD brightness control might not work on Linux.
- Fixed an issue of pen cursor function on the external display.
- Fixed an issue where Fn Key Lock for End/Insert had incorrect behavior.
