INSTALLATION

In the command line to install for 32 bits, execute as sudo:
rpm -i redhat-x86-4005996.rpm

Choose the language you wish to install when the dialog pops up

LAUNCH

To run graphical interface, run lsc_lite using the command line: ./opt/lenovo/ldiag/lsc_lite
To run diagnostics through command line, go to the folder /opt/lenovo/ldiag on the terminal and either execute To run memory diagnostic: sudo lsc_cli -Mmemory
1. To run storage diagnostic: sudo lsc_cli -Mstorage
2. To run RAID diagnostic: sudo lsc_cli ¨CMraid
3. To run PCI-Express diagnostic: sudo lsc_cli ¨CMpci_express
4. To run motherboard diagnostic: sudo lsc_cli ¨CMmotherboard
5. To run recover bad sectors tool, use:
5.1. sudo lsc_cli ¨CMstorage ¨CTrecover ¨Cs (to perform scan only)
5.2. sudo lsc_cli ¨CMstorage ¨CTrecover ¨Cr (to scan and repair)
5.3. sudo lsc_cli ¨CMstorage ¨CTrecover ¨Cf C F (to scan and repair partitions C and F)
5.4. sudo lsc_cli ¨CMstorage ¨CTrecover ¨Cf 0 (to scan and repair all partitions from device 0)

UNINSTALLATION

To uninstall the package, run the following command on the command line:
sudo rpm ¨Ce ldiag-4.0.0.5996-1.rhel6

UPGRADING

To upgrade an older x86 package to current, run the following command on the command line:
sudo rpm ¨CU redhat-x86-4005996.rpm
