Sound Organizer is a program that helps you manage and edit audio files (recorded with your Sony recorder) on your computer. You can also transfer songs from your music CDs or podcasts to the recorder and listen to them.

This utility installs Sound Organizer version 1.5 and provides the following benefits:

  • Adds support for the Windows 8.1 operating system.
  • Improves operational buttons and menu functions.
  • Improves stability and functionality of the program.

  • Adds the display function of "Recording Information" of IC recorders.
  • Adds the "Add Track Marks Automatically" function.
  • Adds the "Normalize" function.
  • Improves stability and functionality of the program.
  • Adds support for additional models.
  • Improves operation and convenience during "My Library" display.
    Notes:
    • Create "New Group".
    • Sort files in a folder by recording date or title.
    • Easier understanding of the relation with a folder name in the file system.
  • Improves the waveform interface for easier editing.
  • Adds transcription support for the Rich Text Format (RTF), Microsoft Word (DOC and DOCX), and Open Office (OBT) file formats.
  • Adds support for the ICD-UX523 series recorders.
  • Adds the capability to customize the folder/file name template of IC recorders.
