If you experience problems capturing still images or videos, such as:
* Video capture freezes or flickers.
* LifeCam software closes unexpectedly when you start it.
One of the following steps may resolve the issue:
* Unplug the webcam and plug it back in.
* Lower the video resolution.
* Close, and then reopen the LifeCam program.
* If you are connected to a USB 1.1 port, try connecting to a USB 2.0 port.
* If you are connected to a USB hub, try to directly connect the webcam to a USB 2.0 port on your computer.
* Make sure you have installed the latest drivers for your video card. See your hardware manufacturer’s documentation or web site for information about how to update video card drivers.
